My story

Introducing Dexter! This 1-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix is as adorable as they come, with his big, soulful eyes, happy grin, and the sweetest little freckles scattered across his nose. Add in those floppy ears and a constantly wagging tail, and you’ve got a dog who can melt hearts in seconds. Dexter is the ultimate adventure buddy. He loves exploring new places, whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood, a hike in the woods, or a road trip to somewhere exciting. The water is his happy place—he’ll gladly splash, swim, or just hang out at the shoreline with you. His playful yet easygoing personality makes him just as content curling up for snuggles as he is heading out for the next great outing. Social and well-mannered, Dexter gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s completely house trained, making him ready to join his forever family without skipping a beat. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and overflowing with love, Dexter is ready to fill someone’s life with joy, adventures, and plenty of freckle-faced kisses RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog.
