My story

DOB: January 4, 2020 Meet Carrot Cake, a sweet orange tabby with a tender soul. Rescued from a hoarding situation, this gentle boy is now ready to find a calm and loving forever home where he can continue to blossom. Carrot Cake is naturally shy at first, but with patience, consistency, and a peaceful environment, he’s shown just how far trust can go. In foster care, he’s been making wonderful progress—revealing a soft, affectionate personality that shines once he feels safe. He’ll thrive best in an adult-only home that’s quiet and routine-oriented. Another friendly resident cat would be the cherry on top, as he loves feline companionship and greets his foster home’s cat with the sweetest headbutts. Carrot Cake enjoys gentle pets on the forehead, cheeks, chin, and body—and he’s even open to belly rubs! Brushing is one of his absolute favorite things; he’ll happily soak up as many grooming sessions as you can give, purring his gratitude the whole time. When it comes to treats, tube treats are his weakness (though crunchy ones are a close second). He’s still learning the joys of toys, but his foster family says his curiosity is growing. His litter box habits, however, are already flawless. Carrot Cake may take some time to settle in, but with love and patience, he will reward you with trust, affection, and companionship that’s all the sweeter for the journey. This sensitive, handsome boy is ready to be loved for exactly who he is. Could you be the one to give Carrot Cake his fur-ever home?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Carrot Cake, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
