My story

This beautiful black Lab mix is Crescent! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl with ID on 8/13. Her family was contacted, but instead of coming to reclaim her they decided to surrender her. We're sad for Crescent because she was clearly loved and now she sits all alone in a loud, full shelter. Her former family did note that Crescent is house trained and good with cats and other dogs! The volunteers describe Crescent as completely precious! She is friendly, playful, and she sits nicely for treats. If you have the time and energy to welcome a young, very good doggo into your family please come meet Crescent! Crescent is approximately 1 year old and weighs 40 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed upon adoption. Crescent is waiting patiently in run 24; her ID # is 12757. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
