I'm named after a true story of Dewey the Library Cat! If you get a chance to read the book, please do. The story is all about a little kitty that was found outside the library in Spencer, Iowa, and he became the library cat. However, he was in poor health when he arrived at the library, but he spent the rest of his life there. It's an excellent story! And if you decide to adopt me, maybe you can read me the book! I have other siblings who will be available soon. I will be available after Sept. 21st.All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. We only rescue from Animal Control and cannot accept lost, hurt or unwanted pets from individuals.  We are a licensed non-profit no-kill shelter.August 15, 2025, 11:35 pm
