My story

Sophia wandered onto her foster mom’s property one day, as if she knew she had finally found a safe haven. We don’t think she’s ever truly had a family before, but with patience and kindness, she has slowly learned to trust her foster mama. Sophia is a gentle, sweet soul who loves to sunbathe in the yard and curl up in a cozy chair. She’s still learning that people can be safe—if you stand up quickly, she might get nervous, but the moment you sit down, she happily trots over for pets. She’s wonderful with older dogs and has a nurturing “mama” instinct toward the younger ones. Sophia is looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time and encouragement to fully come out of her shell and show the spoiled, happy dog she’s meant to be. Local Only adoption fee is $200(in TX)
