My story

Meet Reeces! Reeces was saved off of the county euthanasia list in August of 2025 for being fearful. He has since been in foster showing how truly amazing he is — yet hasn’t received a single application! Reeces is 84 pounds of pure love. He’s the perfect mix of goofy, playful, affectionate and chill. Reeces enjoys his daily walks around the neighborhood followed by lots of playtime with his foster sister. After all that activity he happily lounges on his dog bed for naps. His fosters say he’s very good at knowing when it’s time to play and time to relax. Reeces loves hard. He’s extremely friendly with new people — especially when pets are involved. He just wants to be someone’s companion. Reeces has done well with children, showing he’s a true gentle giant. Reeces knows basic commands, is house, crate and potty trained. He’s the perfect mix of affectionate and independent. Reeces is dog-friendly and super playful with proper introductions. With all of his amazing qualities, he’d make a great fit in most homes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Reeces, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
