My story

Meet Bluebelle! This sweet and gentle dog is a nice medium size, but she's got a big heart. She's a submissive and quiet companion who loves to be close to her people, curled up on the couch, or snoozing in a sunbeam. Bluebelle is a smart and attentive dog who is eager to please. Her endearing traits include: She's a couch-cuddling champion who loves to be wrapped up in a blanket with her favorite humans. She's not a fan of rain or thunderstorms and will seek out snuggles for comfort when the weather gets stormy. Her cautious nature means she'll often peek around a corner before entering a new room, but you'll get a pleasant startle when you see her two huge, clear blue eyes peering in. Her favorite treats are cheese and freeze-dried liver bits. Bluebelle is not reactive to other dogs or cats, but she needs slow and mindful introductions. She perks up around friendly dogs that are her size and may even benefit from a doggie companion! Bluebelle would do best in a calm environment where she is gently provided with clear instructions. Relaxed, soft-spoken adults and children with good self-regulation would make the best companions. She is housebroken, and a fenced-in yard would be a plus for supervised potty breaks, while she builds up her confidence on walks. Bluebelle is an incredibly gentle, submissive, non-destructive, and loving dog who is ready to give all her love to a family who will return it in kind. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with quiet love and endless cuddles, Bluebelle might be the perfect match for you. HISTORY Bluebelle was found as a stray. HEALTH Bluebelle is heartworm negative and up to date on shots. She will be spayed soon. PHYSICAL Bluebelle has a unique and gorgeous merle and white coat, and has lovely blue eyes.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bluebelle, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
