My story

Swayze is an approximately 2 month old kitten and has been with us for a couple weeks. He’s currently in foster care but is ready to find his fur-ever home! Need a cuddle buddy who’s also always up for a fun adventure? Swayze could be your perfect match! This sweet kitten loves to play hard and sleep harder. He’s a big fan of wands, springs, and stuffies, but he’ll find a way to turn anything into a game. After practicing his best pouncing, he’ll happily curl up with you to rest and recharge. In his foster home, Swayze has been taught all the important kitten skills from his resident cat friend like using the litter box, playing politely, and maybe trying to beg for snacks. He is still working on not being mouthy with his human friends, but he’s quick to redirect when offered a toy instead. He’s a very curious and social little guy and ready to greet you with a playful spirit. Swayze is looking for a home that can offer him lots of attention, playtime, snuggles, and patience as he grows into a confident, happy cat. He would likely do well in a home with other cats or animals as long as they are introduced properly. This pet is in a foster home, please speak with staff to set up a meet & greet. Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
