My story

Say hello to Rocky! Rocky is a 6-year-old, 43-pound sweetheart with a mellow personality and a gentle soul! He’s friendly with people and in fact enjoys being around humans more than anything else!Some of Rocky’s hobbies include leisurely walks, lounging around the house, and simply keeping you company.In his dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter, Rocky has been polite and social. When meeting another friendly dog, he offered play bows and gentle sniffing, showing he can be comfortable around canine friends.Rocky would do best in a calm home where his easygoing nature can shine! He’s fully house-trained, low-maintenance, and happiest with someone who appreciates a loyal, laid-back companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow dog who will quietly be your best friend, Rocky is ready to meet you!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
