My name is Bacon and I am a loving good boy who is looking for a loving family to live out my golden years with. My current hooman hurt her back really bad, and I am afraid I am too strong for her to handle. I am a senior, but I run and jump and play like I’m still a puppy. My momma loves me very much, but she will be having major back surgery soon, and I need to allow her to focus on her recovery. I came from a happy home in a big, beautiful house and yard with my momma and daddy. Unfortunately, my daddy passed away unexpectedly, and we had to give up our house and downsize. Because I am so used to having space to expend my energy, I am having trouble adjusting to a small apartment where my neighbors are merely feet away now. Because of this, I suffer from a little separation anxiety. I’d be the happiest big boy ever if I had a family who will give me lots of love, space, undivided attention, and TREATS! Greenies are my weakness, and I will show up for my back of tricks for just a bite! I love other animals and even had a guinea pig brother for several years! I love my momma very much, but it’s important for her to get well again. I hope my future hooman has it in their heart to welcome an old young boy to their family. Love, Bacon aka Ham Chop
