My story

~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Pekingese are just Pomeranians that chase parked cars. Raymond has had a rough road, but he’s still got a lot of love to give. After his original owner passed away, Raymond was rehomed—but heartbreak struck again when his new owner became seriously ill. Sadly, Raymond was later found abandoned at a park near a local shelter. Despite all the upheaval in his life, this little guy still has a strong spirit and a friendly heart. Raymond is a sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys attention and companionship. He gets along with people but isn’t a fan of nail trims—can you blame him? And while he’s a generally good-natured dog, he does have serious crate aggression. If you plan on using a crate, Raymond will need patient training and support to work through his anxiety. Otherwise, he does well outside of a crate and simply wants to be part of a calm, loving home. He would thrive with someone who understands older dogs and can offer him stability after so much loss and change. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion and have a little extra love and patience to give, Raymond may be your guy. Raymond is ready to meet his forever person.
