My story

Alissa Adios A17720536 lb. spayed female, approx 10 months old -Playful, active pup!-In the yard she immediately started zooming and chasing toys. She never picked one up to play though.-Inside she was able to settle down and enjoyed rolling over and relaxing for belly rubs-She’s very treat motivated. Sits sometimes….jumps up sometimes. Most times when asked to “sit” she goes into a lay. She takes them nicely.-In the beginning she was bouncy and twirling on leash but she settled in nicely on the way back inside-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
