My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog C:6Levi – The Shy Snuggle Bug Levi is a 6-year-old, 49-pound male Pit Bull Terrier with a tender heart and a gentle nature. He can be a little reserved at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, his sweet personality shines through. Gentle walker: When starting out, Levi moves low to the ground and may pause to take in his surroundings, but a little sweet talk always encourages him forward. Playful bursts: Once off leash in the yard, he enjoys some freedom—exploring, and may even surprise you with joyful zoomies. Curious snacker: Likely to approach to check out your treat pouch, taking them treats politely. Toy observer: Looks at toys with interest but isn’t quite ready to engage in play just yet. Affection seeker: Once he feels safe, he creeps right up for gentle pets and snuggles, leaning in to soak up the connection. Levi would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can open up at his own pace.
