My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog D:4Shiba – The Calm & Curious Sniffari Guide Shiba is a 7-year-old, 39-pound female Pit Bull Terrier with a sweet, steady nature and a love for exploring her surroundings. She’s equally happy walking by your side or investigating new scents.     •    Easy leash manners: Walks at a relaxed pace, stopping now and then to investigate interesting sights and smells.     •    Curious explorer: Enjoys “sniffaris” and checking out her environment while staying aware of her handler.     •    Treat-focused: Loves snack breaks during her outings, offering friendly check-ins for more.     •    Independent streak: While she enjoys being near her person, she’s content to split her time between treats, exploring, and quiet companionship. Shiba would thrive in a home that appreciates her calm curiosity and enjoys leisurely walks filled with sniffing adventures.
