My story

ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Tyson! Tyson is a 6-year-old, 19 lb. hypoallergenic sweetheart with a constant smile and a happy skip in his step. When he first arrived, he was a little aloof, but within a day his sweet, happy personality shone through. Everywhere he goes, people stop to meet him — and he loves it! Sometimes Tyson is an independent explorer, and other times he follows us around the house, always sitting next to us or near us. He loves when dogs come to visit and he plays well with others. He's affectionate and connected, Tyson makes great eye contact, loves to cuddle,  and does an adorable “happy dance” when he gets cozy. He’s smart, eager to please, and quick to respond to training. Tyson lives for walks, playtime with other dogs, and curling up next to his favorite person. He can be cautious around some men, but with encouragement and lots of treats, he warms up quickly. This sweet boy doesn’t beg, doesn’t shed, and would thrive in a home with another dog and plenty of long walks and attention. He is working on his potty training. Tyson is ready to bring joy, love, and his big smile to his forever home! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to  www.secondchancedogrescue.org  and complete an application today!    All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.  August 16, 2025, 3:57 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tyson, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
