My story

A volunteer writes:Leonard, a young ginger was found hurt in the street and brought to us to mend his wound. His past is a total mystery opening the path to a whole new life. Sweet Leonard has a booboo at the base of his tail and we are working at getting him all better. He is a sweet guy, quite friendly, trusting and eager to lean into pets, purr and be loved. Cute Leonard will for sure be quite a catch once 100% back on his feet and in plain sight in our adoption quarters. Keep him in your thoughts and be ready to meet him very soon at the Manhattan Care Center.What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments.
