Smolder

My story

Smolder is a cat who knows exactly who she is, and she’s not afraid to tell you either! In the shelter, she’s feeling stressed, so she spends most of her time curled up in her favorite bed, loafing like royalty on her throne. She appreciates her own personal space and prefers that friendships develop on her terms. When she trusts you, she enjoys gentle head pets, and when she’s had enough, she’ll politely excuse herself by backing away, an elegant exit with just a hint of sass. In fact, she has no problem expressing her feelings, so it’s best to go slow and let her make the first move (yes, she has been known to “pet” her people first). Calming, relaxing music is one of her favorite things, it soothes her and helps her feel more at ease! Smolder isn’t a lap cat yet, but with a patient, understanding home and the freedom to be herself, she may surprise you with moments of affection. If you admire a cat who values her independence, has a strong personality, and can loaf with the best of them, Smolder might just be your perfect match!
