My story

Hi! I'm Honey! I'm an approximately 5 year old, female, Lab/Golden mix who weighs about 55 to 60lbs. I was surrendered by my owner on 08/14/2025 because my family moved into a smaller home and felt that I needed more space to play. According to my previous owner, I am house trained but am not a fan of being in a crate. I am good with male dogs and older cats! I do not like female animals and find kittens to be annoying. I absolutely love kids of all ages! Kids are my favorite kind of human because they like to play all day and give the best hugs! if you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
