My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Generally a pretty calm, relaxed dog - just likes to be around you - A big time snuggler; loves to snuggle on the couch and sleep in her foster family's bed every night - Foster family says she curls into a ball in bed with them and doesn't move until morning - Very friendly with new people - Wants to know where you are at all times and may be sad or nervous when she can tell you're leaving the house; foster family says she has gotten used to them leaving and coming back with time - Likes being outside and exploring - Has been allowed to roam free in her foster home and appears to be potty trained; has not chewed on things she shouldn't in her foster home - Will love a family that can spend as much time with her as possible! - Has gotten along well with other dogs but does best when fed separately from them This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
