My story

Whoopi is everything you’d expect a Doodle to be! Weighing in at 28 pounds, look at this beauty! This unforgettable girl is approximately a year old and while she’s beyond the shark-teeth phase of puppyhood, she still has all the joy and exuberance we all love from puppies! Though she had a hard start in life, this girl is thriving in her foster home. She has the sweetest disposition (like most Poodle mixes), loves her people, and wants to be with you as much as possible. She’s a world-class sofa snuggler and is super smart! She is doing very well with potty training and is learning basic obedience commands. She walks well on leash, too! Due to her background, Whoopi is more comfortable with women than men, but she warms up with calm, patient introductions. She also likes dogs, but she has a very high prey drive and cannot be in a home with small animals of any kind. She may also get a bit spooked if she feels trapped or if approached too fast/suddenly, so she is not recommended in a home with small children. Whoopi is a wonderful companion dog with a long life of love to give! Her ideal family is one with the time to teach her all the joys of living with a family and establishing a routine.
