My story

MELTS LIKE A MARSHMALLOW  DOB 6/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Tagalong Pattie, a sweet, gentle, quiet, initially shy black-and-white tuxedo gal who was named after the Girl Scout cookie “peanut butter patty.” I’m a perfect mix of strong and soft . . .  a little cautious on the outside, but once you earn my trust, I’ll melt right into your arms and show you all that peanut-butter-patty goodness I’ve been holding inside. I’m the most timid of the #Girl-Scout-cookie crew. While I might not rush into the spotlight, I’m always nearby, quietly watching the world around me with my big, curious eyes. I may not be the first to pounce into the action, but once I feel secure, I’ll happily tag along — just like my name says. I’m still learning that people are kind and cuddles are good, and my foster family says I have already made a lot of progress. I take a little time to warm up because new people and new places can feel a bit overwhelming at first. However, once I feel safe and you scoop me into your arms, I melt like a "patty melt." Seriously. I’m squishy, snuggly, and oh-so-soft. My story began when a kind family found my momma Cookie wandering around outside. She was so friendly that they thought she had a home. Unfortunately, no one came forward. When they found that she had baked a whole batch of us kittens, they brought all of us inside, and we’ve been safe, loved, and well-fed ever since. I get along great with the young kids, other cats, and friendly dogs in my foster home. Now I’m ready to be the perfect mix of soft and strong for my forever family. I would do best with patient hoomans who allow me to go at my own pace . . . and bonus points if you also adopt my brother Chip!
