My story

Hello, my name is Leia! I am a 7 week old domestic medium hair kitten that weighs approx. 2lbs. I was originally found with my siblings at a few days old and was brought to RAC to be taken care of. My siblings and I spent several weeks with a foster that helped us grow and learn. I am now ready for my new adventure with a FURever home of my own! I am on both canned and dry food, and I am using a litter box well. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants in order to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $75 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, first FVRCP booster, and dewormer. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 9/17/25 for my spay and rabies vaccine. The date is non-negotiable and is a part of the adoption contract.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
