My story

Meet Woody, a shy and sensitive poodle mix who’s just beginning to learn what it means to be safe and loved. Rescued from a puppy mill, Woody is understandably hesitant around new people and environments — but with time, patience, and a calm home, he’s starting to show glimpses of the loyal and affectionate dog he’s meant to be. He’s not the type to warm up overnight, but for the right person — someone gentle and consistent — Woody will form a deep, lasting bond. Watching him slowly come out of his shell is incredibly rewarding, and whoever gives him the chance to feel secure will gain a devoted companion for life. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
