My story

Hi there! My name is Sunshine and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 5 year old, female, Domestic shorthair who came to SB Humane in search of a new caring home. I’m Sunshine, a very sweet and vocal lap cat who loves to be close to you. I’m happiest when I’m cuddled up in your lap, sharing purrs and quiet conversation. I also get along well with other cats, so I’d fit right into a multi-cat family. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will always keep you company, I’m your perfect match. Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
