My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Meet S’more, a delightful six-month-old German Shepherd mix, whose warm spirit and soft gaze could melt even the chilliest heart. With her gentle demeanor and curious nature, she is at the perfect stage to soak up the world around her, learning and growing every single day. Her beautiful coat is as inviting as her personality, and she’s eager to find a new loving home where she can share her boundless affection. S’more is wonderfully friendly with both dogs and children, making her a charming addition to a family that already has furry or human playmates. When S’more first arrived, she was a little shy, unsure and cautious taking time to size up her surroundings. But with a little bit of time, and gentle reassurance, she quickly began to blossom which has been a beautiful thing to witness. S’more warmed up quickly once she realized she was safe and loved. Her natural curiosity extends to cats and while she finds them fascinating, she respects their boundaries, watching them with quiet interest and caution rather than barging into their space. When it comes to walks, S’more is a dream companion. She walks beautifully in a harness, keeping a steady pace and savoring the sights and smells. A simple stroll can turn into an adventure with her—she can be spotted chasing falling leaves with pure glee, her tail wagging as if she’s discovered nature’s best toys. However, her playful side also makes rabbits, birds, and squirrels tempting targets for a quick chase and rapid bursts of excitement. S’more also has a love for water that is pure joy in motion. At her core, S’more is a loyal and loving soul who wants nothing more than to be close to her person. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or enjoying a day outside, she will be right there beside you, offering companionship and warmth. She thrives in an environment where she’s included in daily activities and can feel like a true member of the family. With her affectionate personality, gentle manners, and zest for life, S’more is ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyal companionship into her new family’s world. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
