My story

Meet PawPaw – a six-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart as gentle as his pace. This 16-pound sweetheart is the definition of easy-going. He spends most of his day snoozing in his bed, happy just to relax and soak up the quiet life. PawPaw is impeccably tidy, keeping his kennel spotless, and he’s as silent as they come—you might forget he’s there until he nudges you for some affection. He loves being held, enjoys gentle attention, and will happily melt into your arms. We believe PawPaw is hard of hearing and may have some vision impairment, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying every moment of comfort and love that comes his way. If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly companion to share your days, PawPaw would love to meet you. His minimum adoption fee is $300 + $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents (if 4 months or older). He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
