My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This animal is available for adoption by appointment. To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- May be a little nervous at first, but is the sweetest girl once she opens up - Loves people and companionship; will become your little shadow once she knows you - Loves cuddles and affection; enjoys cuddling on the sofa - A great couch potato - Does well on a leash and with a harness and enjoys going on walks with her people - Loves going on car rides, especially when the trip is to get a pup cup; a mellow passenger who will happily ride shotgun on your adventures - Knows sit - May bark at new people and dogs at first while she decides if you're her friend, but once she realizes she can trust you she'll give all the kisses - Enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style - Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: White Weight: 50.5 Age: 4yrs 4mths 2wks
