My story

dob 7/24/24 Sherwood was dropped off at Roscommon County Animal Shelter with a broken leg that they weren't able to care for. TC Paw took Sherwood in, but our vet couldn't save the leg, so now Sherwood is a happy tripod who loves to be loved. He's friendly and affectionate, he adjusted quickly to his foster home, and he gets along well with his small breed foster brother dog. Sherwood enjoys long conversations with everyone, and once he gets what he's asking for, mostly loving and scritches, he settles in with purrs and head butts. He's playful and likes to chase toys, but Sherwood's playtime can't have any jumping. He doesn't care about treats; however, he will let you know when his food runs low. We think he'd be fine with kids as long as they understand his limitations. Although his young life had a bad start, his foster family says he is one of the most loving, well-adjusted cats they've seen.
