Irina

My story

Meet Irina! She is a 7yr old female Alaskan Husky mix that weighs 46lbs. She came in 8/13 to the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray. The person that brought Irina in stated she was a stray she found and brought into her home and would place the pup in her elderly fathers lap and tho stated she bit, there was no clear indication this happened. Irina is a lovely, yet lively girl that does enjoy playing with toys but did not show to be mouthy. She walks excellently on a leash and did take a treat gently. She showed no other interest in the other dogs barking at her, but please ask the shelter for a dog test if you do have another dog in the home. Tho she needed a good groom she appears to have been well cared for, and not overly active nor jumping. Her favorite thing to do was to lean in next to you, with a big smile on her face to allow you to brush her, be petted, given hugs and she will be happy to give you kisses back. I feel this wonderful girl deserves the opportunity to be with a loving family that can give her plenty of toys to play with and a secured backyard to run in. But most definitely live indoors where she can enjoy her time with a family that does understand her breed. I have no doubt she will shower her human companions with plenty of love and affection. Please come spend time with Irina!
