My story

Meet Phoenix starting 8/15! This big puppy has a big heart to match! She loves her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Since she is a puppy she is still teething which means she loves all kinds of toys: including rope toys, balls, puppy safe chew toys and big sticks she finds in the yard. One of her other favorites toys is the toddler slide her foster had for her to climb on. She also loves to have her chin and neck rubbed when she`s sleepy. Phoenix is crate trained and stays in a crate during the day while her foster is at work. She also sleeps in a crate at night. She is doing well with potty training and should continue to do so with a regular routine. She`s doing great with leash training and knows the commands `sit`, `crate`, and `let`s go`. She is treat motivated, so catches on to new commands pretty quickly. Sometimes she gets a little car-sick on her adventures, but she`s a happy girl otherwise! She is still working on her puppy manners of not jumping or biting during play, so would do well in a home with a patient adopter that can continue to work on her manners. She would love an active home where she can run and play. She plays well with other dogs as long as they can handle how active she is.Phoenix has nothing but love to give. Come meet this sweet girl and take home a new best friend!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Phoenix, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
