CHIP

My story

This handsome pup is Chip! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 8/6, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing Chip, he is sure a good boy! The volunteers describe Chip as super sweet and attentive to the people around him. He is initially a little shy, but he warms up quickly! Chip sits nicely when asked and he walks so nicely on leash. Even though Chip has been a little reserved in the shelter, we imagine once he's in a forever home and feels safe and loved that he'll open up and act more like a puppy. Chip is still quite young, so please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to commit to him. Chip is approximately 10 months old and weighs 50 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and he did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Chip is waiting in run 831; his ID # is 12565. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
