My story

Meet Portobello, the fun guy! Porto or PB to his friends is a mellow guy in the house, content to snooze the day away. He enjoys walks and most of all sniffing! He would like someone that will continue to take him on walks to help him slim down and let him sniffvestigate the neighborhood. He would do fine in an apartment/condo or house with a yard, but he has enjoyed keeping watch from his balcony perch on the world below, so he may enjoy a similar setup in his forever home.He is generally wonderful on leash and is learning to not go up to greet every human and dog still, he`s just a friendly mushroom! He is calm, cooperative and gentle for any handling (including a bath and removing pine sap from his tootsies). Mr. Man loves a car ride and will happily sit in the back with a window open to take in the smells.His house manners are impeccable, no accidents and hasn`t tried to get into anything or sample any furniture legs. He will flop into your lap if you sit on the floor and is a great TV watching partner. Portobello doesn`t ask for much, just some space to lounge, some time to sniff and a lap to snuggle on.The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
