My story

Rescued: 4/12/2025 Age at the time of rescue: Approx. 2 years Current weight: 20 pounds Ruby is still on the island waiting for her chance to leave and find her forever home.. we need a foster or forever home and would love to get her to MN! Little Ruby was rescued when spotted on the streets suffering from a hurt ear. She needed help and our partner rescue was happy to give her the medical care she needed! She longs for love and safety she deserves. She gets along with everyone and is great on a leash. Car rides make her a little nervous and she loves to watch & hunt anything that scurries across the yard. For this reason, cats are not encouraged. She is a good girl, keeps her crate clean and appears to be housetrained although, we can never be 100% sure. She love both humans and four-legged friends, but has never been around little ones so we are unsure. This smart girl knows her name and will come when called especially when it's time to settle in for the night. Thrives on routine and clearly grateful for her second chance at life.
