My story

Our hearts break for Pecas and her buddy Canello. Their owner was moving and could not take them. They arrived to the shelter on 8/11. Pecas is 8 months old and weighs in at 43 pounds. She is quite scared of the shelter. She knows to sit when asked. She could use some patient teaching on how to walk with a leash. Pecas deserves a second chance at a forever home filled with love. Would you be her hero? Ask for ID# 12710 Run 859. She will be spayed soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. She has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
