My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750   The Bagel Puppies – Fresh out of the oven & ready for forever homes!       Born June 4th, 2025 to Mama Everything Bagel (a petite Yorkie who arrived at DPS very, very pregnant), this litter of 8 week old cuties is now weaned, full of confidence, and ready to take on the world without their mama. Though Mama is all Yorkie, her pups are a delightful mixed batch— most have scruffy little terrier looks… except for their only sister, who came out looking like a perfect mini Pug!       Their puppy days so far have been a mix of:       Three delicious kibble meals a day       Rowdy wrestling matches with littermates       Toy pile raids and victory laps       Epic naps in a snuggly heap       Meet the flavors in our Bagel batch:       Red Onion – The only girl and the only one who looks different from her siblings (pug face and all!), Red Onion is a brave, loving little soul. She grew up in a sea of brothers and can hold her own in any wrestling match, but she’s also a champion cuddler.       Cream Cheese – The biggest and most nurturing of the crew, Cream Cheese takes his “big brother” duties seriously. He often checks on his siblings while they nap, giving them tiny kisses like the sweet protector he is. They climb all over him, but he doesn't mind!       Lox – The tiny spark plug! Lox is all about meeting new people and making friends— human or canine. If there’s a party, he’s already there. He is a bold explorer ready to take on the world.       Dill – Small but mighty, Dill’s foodie heart is as big as his personality. With his slightly pug-ish, maybe Brussels Griffon-y face, he’s uniquely adorable and knows it. He's a total charmer and practically impossible to say no to. He's also a big fan of toys of all shapes and sizes.       Capers – The little prince. Capers is convinced the world revolves around him (and honestly, with his cuteness, it just might). He soaks up attention and thrives on being loved.       If you’re looking for joy, laughter, and just the right sprinkle of mischief, these Bagel puppies are fresh, fluffy, and ready to be your favorite daily pick-me-up.        August 13, 2025, 6:58 pm
