My story

Bluey is a charming 5-year-old Poodle mix who recently made the journey from Arkansas with his best buddy, Trippy. When their original owners could no longer care for them, a local rescue stepped in, and we were happy to help find each of them a loving home. Bluey is a sweet boy with a gentle nature and moderate energy, making him a wonderful companion for both playtime and relaxation. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. Since he previously lived primarily outdoors, he may need some patience and guidance with housetraining as he adjusts to life indoors. Bluey will do best in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can safely enjoy his outdoor time. Bluey is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Bluey is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; he must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Bluey currently weighs about 70lbs., is approximately 5 years old (est. birth date 08/09/2020), and his adoption fee is $510. Bluey has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
