My story

Trippy is a handsome 3-year-old German Shepherd who recently made the journey from Arkansas with his best buddy, Bluey. When their original owners could no longer care for them, a local rescue stepped in, and we were happy to help find each of them a loving home. Trippy is loyal, intelligent, and full of energy — the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He does well with other dogs and would love a home where he can have both mental and physical stimulation. Since he previously lived primarily outdoors, he may need a little patience and guidance with housetraining as he adjusts to indoor life. Trippy will thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy safely. Trippy is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Trippy is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; he must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Trippy currently weighs about 74lbs., is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 08/09/2022), and his adoption fee is $315. Trippy has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
