My story

Petey is a 4-month-old, 30-pound bundle of joy with a heart that’s bigger than his little legs. This playful guy is convinced the whole world is his friend—cats, deer, chickens, you name it! He’s still learning that not everyone shares his enthusiasm, but his happy-go-lucky spirit is irresistible.Petey’s favorite hobbies include playing fetch with balls or squeaky toys, tug-of-war, and a good game of chase with his dog pals. Don’t be fooled by his size—he can keep up with the best of them!After a busy day of adventures, Petey snoozes peacefully through the night in his crate. He’s also making great progress with potty training and has already mastered “sit,” with more tricks in the works. Smart, food-motivated, and full of personality, Petey is ready to bring endless fun and love to his forever family.***Please Note: All the available dogs listed on our website are getting spoiled in private foster homes. If someone has caught your eye and you wish to arrange a meet and greet, we do need you to fill out the adoption application. When your adoption application is received our screening team will verify the information given. Once your application has been confirmed and approved, we will be send it over to the foster parent for review to determine if your home is a good match for the dog. In the event one lucky dog receives multiple applications, please know we do not select based on a first come basis. We try our best to select the best-fit for our animals and families. ***
