My story

Zoomie is a beautiful young-adult grey and white cat with a gentle spirit and a soft, curious heart. She gets along well with other cats, but is still learning to fully trust people. Recently arriving at the shelter as a stray, Zoomie has been feeling a bit anxious with all the new sights and sounds, and she’s dreaming of a calmer, quieter home where she can truly relax. With patience, love, and a peaceful environment, she’s sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Zoomie is ready for a family who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe, confident, and loved—once she’s comfortable, she’ll show you just how special she really is. All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
