My story

Philip is an approximately 4 month old happy boy. He is kid, cat and dog friendly. He extremely happy all the time and just wants to play with everyone! Although he does not need to be expressed he also has no idea that he’s peeing or pooping, so he has to wear full diapers. His diaper changes can be fairly frequent during the day. He does sleep all night without a diaper change 8-10hours. Philip is a very on the go dog! He loves to go out places and travels well in the car. He gets around really well in his wheelchair ams continues to build muscle and stamina. Philip will require some form of PT throughout his life to keep him safe and strong. He will also need new wheelchairs as he grows the vet estimated 55 to 65 pounds. Philip was born with his mobility issues due to scoliosis for spinal deformation, and nerve damage. Since he was born this way, he is not on any medication and there is no disease that will continue to progress his challenges.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Philip, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
