My story

Hi! My name is Birdie and I am a spunky 5 month old puppy! I love toys and playing with my foster sister, a 2 year old lab. She thinks I bite too much, so she prefers to play with the toys with me. We both love ball. Ball is life! I could run after ball all day, and I will bring it back to you! I am working on house training and will let you know if I have to go by whining. I do well in a crate after I calm down and realize play time is over. I have found my voice and will let you know my opinions. I’ve been making great strides on the leash, but I much prefer running around on my own in a fenced in yard. My foster mom will tell you I’m one tough puppy and like to pull on the leash, but will go to the bathroom quickly in a small area. I am up-to-date on my vaccines and am heartworm negative. I know how to sit and am learning other commands like “stay”, “come”, and “leave it”. I’m very smart, food driven, and eager to learn! Please come meet me so I can stare into your soul with my puppy eyes and convince you to take me home with you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Birdie Stray, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
