My story

Current Location: Accokeek, MD This dog is part of our Clear the Shelters 2025 celebration, with a $50 adoption fee reduction through September 15! Meet Tinkerbell Tinkerbell is a gentle soul who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. She has a soft, brindle coat that shines in the light and a lovely smile that appears once she feels safe and comfortable. Energy and Personality Calm and low key, Tinkerbell is happiest with short bursts of gentle activity followed by cozy lounging. She does not need a lot of exercise, making her a great fit for a more relaxed household. Training and Behavior She is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and making steady progress every day. Tinkerbell is learning to explore more of her world beyond her crate and bed, and with patience she continues to show more of her curious and affectionate side. Social Life Tinkerbell gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their quiet company. With humans, she is shy at first but once she feels safe, she gives the sweetest little kisses and licks. Quirks and Special Traits Her brindle coat is stunning, but her true beauty shines in the moments when she relaxes and her warm, hopeful smile lights up her face. She is blossoming a little more each day. Best Home Fit Tinkerbell would do best in a patient and loving home that will give her the time and encouragement to grow into her full self. She has so much love to share and is ready to bloom in the right hands. Veterinary Care Tinkerbell is up to date on vaccinations for her age, spayed, microchipped, and receiving heartworm, flea, tick, and parasite preventatives.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tinkerbell, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
