Meet Your New Best Friend! Morton is a sweet little gentleman who is looking for his happily-ever-after! Weighing in at just 10 pounds, he’s the perfect pint-sized companion for snuggles on the couch or easy strolls around the neighborhood. At 6-8 years young, he’s mellow, loving, and full of charm—proof that great things come in small packages. With his gentle nature and loving heart, he’s ready to give his new person or family all the affection they can handle. He’s got a wonderful temperament, loves being near his humans, and will happily curl up beside you or sleep in his favorite bed, he’s easy going and low maintenance! Morton is just adorable, and more than ready to trade foster life for a forever home filled with love and security. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow to brighten your days, this sweetheart is waiting to meet you! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
