My story

#A5714440 Say hello to Diego , a 5-year-old German Shepherd with a quietly regal presence, a sleek black and brown coat, and the most striking smoky eyeliner you’ve ever seen. This refined gentleman is the total package deal - affectionate, snuggly, and eager to please, with a perfectly balanced medium energy level and great manners to match. He’s leash-savvy, potty trained, knows basic commands like sit, and is super treat-motivated with a gentle mouth, making him a dream to train. Diego is just as happy leaning in for love as he is splashing around - he's a total water fiend and would never say no to a swim or romp outdoors. Friendly and curious with both people and pups, he’s easy to fold into just about any household. True to his breed, Diego is loyal, hardworking, and ready to be someone’s devoted best friend for life - will he be yours? -5 year old black and brown German Shepherd -87 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/18/25 as a spray -regal and refined gentleman, with a fine black and brown coat and the most striking smoky eyeliner -the perfect disposition for both new pet owners or more experienced ones - snuggly, affectionate and eager to please, with a well balanced medium energy level, and well trained to boot!  -easy on leash, even at his size, potty trained, and good at basic commands like sit, plus is treat motivated with a gentle mouth, so he could easily learn more with a little work -equally happy to lean in for pets as he is to romp around the yard or stick close on an outdoors adventure - this darling boy is an absolute fiend for playtime, especially if it's the water - always down to splash around or go for a swim -is friendly and curious about both other people and pups, making him very easy to integrate into a wide range of households -as is typical of his breed - endlessly loyal and devoted, with a hardworking streak     DIEGO’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/VDrKMMlVOUs   For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
