My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.A volunteer writes: The look on Grapefruit's face speaks volumes and I think he wishes it would be quiet for a moment. Grapefruit's a blind and a senior who doesn't want to stand out anymore than he absolutely has to. He was brought to us with many other cats when their guardian passed away. Though he leaned away from my outstretched hand and remained huddled and cuddled in his cozy little den, Grapefruit was curious about treats and settled into his loaf as I read to him for a little while. Grapefruit understands that there's a long road ahead as he gains confidence and begins to shine on his way to a forever home, but each small step is a tiny victory and celebration that adds up and brings him closer to you.
