Name: Remy        Best Guess for Breed:  Border collie/spaniel mix Best Guess for Age:  2 years as of August 2025         SEX:  female   Approximate Weight:   28lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We have not seen Nina with cats or kids but are happy to discuss integration techniques with interested adopters.    Currently Living at:  Puerto Rico shelter   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Remy would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.    Remy is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweetie is not long out of puppyhood and ready to see the world! She's eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see me by your side? Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
