My story

Meet Trixie- again! Trixie was with SAAP as a puppy a year ago. She thought she had found her forever family but their circumstances changed with a major life upheaval, and Trixie has found herself back where her SAAP adventure began.. in her foster home looking for a family. She’s 50lbs heavier ( weighs 58) but has the same soulful eyes- and the same beautifully shaped eyebrows. Understandably she’s a bit scared and unsure- she did nothing wrong and misses her family- but we’ve learned some things already about her! She loves kids! She’s also good with dogs AND cats! At this time she will run from the high energy/in your face dogs but this should improve as she warms up.  She’s a tall girl with long legs- yes, I’m jealous- and loves her people. Once she has a chance to warm up she’ll be a great companion, walking buddy, you name it.
