My story

Learn more hereCamelia is a 2-year-old, 9-pound chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a moment (and maybe a treat) and she’ll be in your lap showering you with kisses. Her favorite place to nap? Curled up on your stomach while you relax on the couch! In her foster home, Camelia has been friendly, playful, and full of energy. She gets along well with the resident small dogs. She’d love a home with a playful pup friend, or she could be your one and only with plenty of attention. She's potty-trained and settles in well around the home. Camelia would do best with an experienced adopter who can help her continue to build confidence. She's done well with dog-savvy kids 12+, and while she may bark when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and loves to be close.
