My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $750 Post-It | 10–12 Months Old | Schnoodle | 11 lbs   Meet Post-It, the little Schnoodle with a big personality — and the energy to match! Rescued from a shelter, this smart, sweet, and silly pup has quickly made himself at home in foster care, winning hearts with his zoomies, cuddles, and endless toy enthusiasm.   Post-It’s day starts between 7–9 a.m. with a trip to the yard, breakfast (always made extra yummy with a splash of chicken or cottage cheese), and then a serious session of “empty the toy box.” He’s a fetch pro, loves to shred and de-squeak his squeaky dragon, and zooms around the house or yard until he’s ready to flop down for a nap. By evening, he’s happy to curl up on the couch for some quality cuddle time.   He’s currently living with a patient senior dog and does well, though he occasionally pushes her limits with his puppy playfulness. Post-It would likely enjoy a home with a friendly, playful dog, but may be a bit too much for calmer pups.   This little guy is very smart — he mastered the dog door in a week, knows “sit,” and comes when called. He’s fully housetrained and tolerates handling well, even for ear cleanings and medication. That said, Post-It will need ongoing leash training; he gets very excited when he sees other dogs, people, squirrels, birds, or even shadows, and will lunge or bark. He’s not overly treat-motivated, but he’s quick to learn once he focuses.   Post-It’s ideal home will be with someone who can give him plenty of daily exercise — think two brisk walks plus play sessions. He’d thrive with a dog-savvy adopter who’s ready to channel his smarts and energy into training and fun.   With his playful spirit, big brain, and sweet snuggles, Post-It is ready to stick by your side through every adventure.August 14, 2025, 11:39 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Post-It, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
