My story

Looking for a dog with a little moxie? If so, then you should adopt Roxy! This 12-lb. Yorkie is confident, social, and loves attention. Roxy originally arrived at PK as a stray and was adopted for a short period but was recently surrendered again. Despite being a middle-aged 8-year-old, Roxy is full of energy and loves to play and go on walks. She weighs 12 lbs. Roxy would do best in a home without shared walls, as she barks when home alone; but she is able to be left at home uncrated for short periods. Roxy doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of other dogs but is not bothered by cats. She has spent time with kids and did well. As a Yorkie, she needs regular grooming, so interested adopters will need to be prepared to keep up with that expense. She is said to be a good girl at the groomers.
